For the first time, the Australian government have rolled out a mechanism to provide much needed support for its disadvantaged population. The government scheme will support those who are under 65 years old and have a permanent and significant disability.
Introduced by the federal government in 2017, the purpose of NDIS is fund the needs of Australians to rehouse people with disabilities into specialist accommodation. NDIS cover the cost of housing and the care associated with residents.
Under NDIS, you can construct homes, duplex, villas, townhouses or apartments.
The rental income you receive is based on a number of predetermined factors such as number of bedrooms, design category and locational factors.
